On 25th of November 2017, Mensa Penang successfully organized a workshop on ‘Building a Simple Glider’ at the Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang.
About 20 children and adults had a wonderful time, first learning the basics of aerodynamics and glider designs and controls. This was followed by the actual assembly of the participants’ individual gliders following the instructions of course instructor, Mr. Steven Loh.
And finally, after the completion of the glider assembly, all the participants headed out to the field to test and fun sending out gliders soaring into the air.
